Members List (1906): Temple of Truth, Wilmington Delaware

I was researching a Philadelphia family who had moved to Wilmington, Delaware about 1905. I had evidence that they were members of a reformed Jewish congregation in Philadelphia, so I hoped to find them in Delaware belonging to a similar congregation. A clue led to The Temple of Truth in Wilmington (now part of Beth Emeth). I didn’t have high hopes for the search because I had consulted a book documenting Wilmington’s Jewish community.¹. The author said there were no extant membership lists. My happy surprise was a newspaper article that listed the Temple of Truth founders…and members in 1906.² The members list follows below identifying them as original corporators (OC) and members (M).
