When I opened up the April 2021 issue of The NYG&B Record (152:160) I saw Myra Vanderpool Gormley has passed away. You may have encountered Myra as a journalist or one of her books on Family Tree Maker, Cherokees, etc. Her contributions to advancing genealogy are in her obituary, available online https://edwardsmemorial.com/tribute/details/30670/Myra-Gormley/obituary.html
