Are you interested in writing about your family? The current issue of the Tennessee Genealogical Society’s Ansearchin’ News is all about writing family histories. I was one of three writers interviewed about our interest in genealogy and the paths we’ve taken in pursuing genealogical writing (It’s striking how much we have in common!). This issue also includes my article “Five Tips to Write as You Research.”

My ancestry leads to Tennessee on both sides of the family tree, but you don’t have to have any kin from Tennessee to benefit from their journal and programs. Membership is a great value at $30 per year.
